HIKAYATI: MY STORY | BUILDING FOR ORPHANS
HIKAYATI is a state-of-the-art child development and rehabilitation center currently under construction in Najaf, Iraq. This project aims to provide psychological treatment to countless orphans who have endured unimaginable violence, leaving them to deal with depression, post-traumatic stress and a sense of hopelessness. Going beyond providing food and shelter, our goal is to transform the lives of orphans through rehabilitation, so that they become self-sufficient, self-sustaining and contributing member of society.
